Charlotte´s Web – 10 Year Anniversary – The Future

Last week we delved into the history and the story of how Charlotte´s Web was born, from the first adventures in India to growing and expanding our collections and reaching a wider audience every year. In this blog, we are focusing firmly on the future, on our visions, dreams, ideas and inspiration as we move positively into our second decade as a business.

We always closely observe the trends in the jewellery world, and as we look to the future we will be working to realise a long nurtured vision to design and create more high end pieces to enhance and heighten our collections. We are currently working on some fantastic new finer jewellery lines, which we are very excited about

Charlotte herself will be once again setting off to India. To travel, immerse herself even further into the culture there, and take time to research new materials, colours, styles and plan and assess her thoughts on the future of the brand and designs. Creating new jobs and opportunities in India will always be a firm focus, and for Charlotte herself, having worked alone for many years, the team she now benefits from having around her make her feel supported, strong and most importantly able to completely trust colleagues whom she can grow and expand with.

The team in India have grown together, becoming something of a family, something which may not be obvious to many people when they look at the designs these craftsmen and woman have created. A great deal of work has gone into each and every piece, and over the years, they have together built and expanded their own workshop where these captivating items are brought to life.

Charlotte feels that after years of trials and tribulations, she has found the life she always wanted to live, a result of several years of hard work. She believes that having unwavering will and determination, working hard and treating people well is the key to success. In this ever changing, often fickle world, you truly do get back what you give.

Customer service is another absolutely imperative aspect to everyone at Charlotte´s Web, and we strive to ensure our clients old and new are treated with the utmost fairness and respect. We delight in bringing new and innovative exciting designs which no one else can offer. These designs are often inspired by Charlotte´s travels and she will continue to expand her horizons, visiting different places such as Morocco, Turkey and Mexico, embracing these wonderfully bohemian and colourful cultures to find new and innovative ideas.

Having a career which continues to allow her to combine her love of travel, find beautiful things and meet interesting people, is something which is never taken for granted. Charlotte and our brand are constantly growing and evolving, and she personally is proud of the knowledge she has gained from introducing new and innovative designs, being an employer, and gaining the knowledge she can now impart to other people. Empowering a customer is another incredibly important achievement, helping people to believe in themselves, and be bolder, braver. With confidence, anything is possible.

Having reached the 10 year milestone, Charlotte is rightfully proud that having started with a budget of only 1000 pounds she has built into a thriving business, beginning with a humble backpack, a beautiful online boutique has flourished, employing four people in the UK, creative, talented women who had become disillusioned by working in mainstream fashion and are now an integral part of her team, who are all able to give their input which is always listened to and noted.

So, as we look forward to the future, it’s another feather to our bow that our first year of selling in Ibiza has been a huge success, proving our belief that the brand and the island is a truly natural fit. We have enjoyed exploring how to work closely with the islanders, and plans abound to design an Ibiza Collection for next summer, encapsulating the essence of Ibiza with unusual, colourful, boho pieces, perhaps even extending our reach to Mallorca and Marbella.
