When it comes to showcasing our unique, handcrafted jewellery, there's no better backdrop than the dreamy landscapes of Ibiza, Charlotte’s hometown and where she spends a lot of her time designing the jewellery. For our latest photoshoot, we packed up our newest releases, a team of talented creatives, and plenty of sun-soaked inspiration. Here's an exclusive look at how it all came together.
Prepping for Perfection
Before we even set foot on the island, meticulous planning was already in full swing. Mood boarding sessions with our trusted photographer, Adrien discovering rural locations and backdrops. Adrien, who we've had the pleasure of working with for many other shoots, truly understands how to capture the essence of Charlotte's Web Jewellery.
Finding the right models was another key step. Olga flew in from Paris to join the shoot, while the other models were already based on the island for the summer, bringing an authentic Ibiza vibe to the project. We also teamed up with the same flawless makeup artist, Dani, and studio crew we've relied on in the past to help us keep everything running seamlessly.
Nicola (our sales guru) and I (Hannah) flew out to stay with Charlotte before the photoshoot with a jam-packed suitcase! We spent a day prepping , steaming outfits sourced from boutiques and curating the perfect jewellery combinations for each look. But we still found a time for a lovely evening stroll in Ibiza’s beautiful Old town with Charlotte as the ultimate tour guide!
Day 1: Studio and Poolside Glamour
Our first day kicked off at Fuse Studio. We laid out all the jewellery and clothes, creating a space that felt both inspiring and organised. The day was a whirlwind of activity, as Adrien worked his magic behind the camera, capturing shot after shot of our latest designs as myself, Nicola and Charlotte were frantically changing up the jewellery looks and ensuring each shot looked perfect!
As the afternoon rapidly turned into evening, we moved to Pandilla Pool for a dreamy poolside shoot. The goal? To capture the essence of summer - effortless, relaxed, and utterly captivating. The turquoise waters and golden sunlight provided the perfect backdrop for our boho-inspired pieces. I think we were all ready to jump in at the end of the day with a cocktail in hand!
Day 2: Rustic Ibiza and Golden Hour Magic
Day two took us on an adventure through the rural heart of Ibiza. Using Café Can Cosmi as our base in Santa Agnès, we explored the rustic scenery. Pulling over on the side of the road to make use of textured walls, wild landscapes, and even a weathered boat, every shot was a testament to Ibiza's raw beauty. It was a lot more challenging juggling with the elements when changing outfits/jewellery, especially on a time crunch with the sun but still a fun, creative day and a nice contrast to the studio.
The islands infamous wind kept us on our toes, but it added a sense of movement and authenticity to the images. As the day wore on, we found ourselves chasing the golden hour that perfect moment as the sun sets, casting everything in a warm, glowing light. The jewellery really shone in this light with genuine gemstones and stunning contrasts of gold and silver we could feel everything coming to life.
Wrapping Up
By the end of day two, we were exhausted but exhilarated. The combination of incredible locations, stunning jewellery, and a hardworking team, all within Ibiza's undeniable charm resulted in a collection of images that truly bring our jewellery to life.
